Congress has spent almost $500 per US family to support the war in Ukraine. The money isn’t being borrowed, it’s being printed, and the result will be more inflation. Wages can’t be increased enough to make up the difference because the money and goods are leaving our country. — Thomas Massie (@RepThomasMassie) May 12, 2022

57 Republicans made the Honor Roll yesterday. Biden will print the billions Congress voted to send to Ukraine which will further exacerbate the record high inflation we are experiencing.https://t.co/piQhWBsrE6 — Thomas Massie (@RepThomasMassie) May 11, 2022

Giving Biden unilateral authority to seize property, without providing some semblance of due process, sets a dangerous precedent regardless of whose property is to be taken.https://t.co/C61hoQH94X — Thomas Massie (@RepThomasMassie) May 2, 2022

Bruce Fein writes at The Hill, “The Bible’s Eighth Commandment prohibits thievery or stealing. It is understandable, nevertheless, that on Wednesday, the House of Representatives, infuriated by Russian aggression against Ukraine, would vote 417-8 to authorize President Joe Biden to steal the assets of Russian oligarchs allegedly linked to President Vladimir Putin to benefit the people of Ukraine.
The vote for H.R. 6930, the 'Asset Seizure For Ukraine Reconstruction Act,' may be politically astute, but it is not law and is an appalling precedent."

I assume the creepy new DHS “Disinformation Governance Board” is going to be tasked with spreading disinformation. The person chosen to lead it suggested, just before the 2020 election: Hunter’s laptop was fake and social media was to blame for the Gov. Whitmer kidnapping plot. — Thomas Massie (@RepThomasMassie) April 29, 2022

Bureaucrats in DC shouldn’t be deciding what your children learn at school. My bill, #HR899, is only one sentence long: “The Department of Education shall terminate on December 31, 2022.” — Thomas Massie (@RepThomasMassie) April 28, 2022
