NewsMax’s Kenny Cody writes, “Back in 2021, Paul even introduced the Travel Mask Mandate Repeal Act of 2021, which would have prohibited nanny state mandates across the country that required masks on those who wanted to travel on public transportation. For some reason, these policies continue to be in place throughout the country despite decreased cases and most mandates being effectively removed from the populace...
Luckily, Paul is stepping up to the plate where many Republicans and Democrats would not by reintroducing his legislation for the 2022 agenda once the Senate reconvenes. Paul said in a press release, 'The entire world is learning to live with COVID, the federal government still uses fear-mongering to stubbornly perpetuate its mandates, rather than giving clear-eyed, rational advice on how to protect yourself from illness best. That is why I am forcing a vote to repeal travel mask mandates on public transportation and put a stop to this anti-science.'

The Washington Examiner’s Christopher Tremoglie writes, “Tonight, you heard a speech by someone who doesn’t know what’s going on in the Union,’ Senator Rand Paul said on Tuesday night. “Or, at least, he is hoping you don’t know.”
President Joe Biden delivered the State of the Union Address on Tuesday but it was Kentucky Senator Rand Paul who provided the real state of the union. Whereas Biden spent much of the night vilifying Russian President Vladimir Putin and the crisis in Ukraine, it was Senator Paul who put the focus back on the plight of the American people. When Biden did get around to addressing the U.S., he described an alternate reality, ignoring the harsh conditions that have inundated the country during his presidency.
‘What’s the state of the union? Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has led to the worst crisis in Europe since World War II. Massive inflation is everywhere, the likes of which we haven’t seen since the malaise of Jimmy Carter,’ Paul said. ‘Parents are frustrated from almost two years of bureaucrats messing with their kids’ schooling. Everyday Americans seeing their freedom, jobs and livelihoods stolen from them by petty tyrants drunk on power with lockdowns and mandates.”

Rand Paul issued a press release that he would be forcing a vote on his resolution to end travel mask mandates on public transportation in the United States. With most mask mandates in the country coming to an end, the man should be celebrated as a national hero just for trying. Moreover, the public transportation industry, particularly the airline industry, always had inconsistent and baffling regulations regarding masks. If it passes, Paul’s resolution will be a welcome relief to many travelers.
‘Since March 2020, unelected bureaucrats have incessantly declared that we should ‘follow the science,’’ Paul said in a press release. ‘But the same bureaucrats continue to defy science by imposing an ineffective and restrictive mask mandate for individuals traveling on public transit and airplanes.
