First, the cost is astronomical. The Biden administration and its allies in Congress have repeatedly made false claims about its price tag. They’ve time and time again parroted the claim that the legislation ‘costs zero’ because it supposedly does not add to the national debt and is ‘paid for’ with new tax increases. (It actually does add to the debt, but that’s not the point). Yet this is an absurd argument.”

The Washington Times reports, “The conservative caucus, made up of more than 150 House Republicans, has helped influence GOP leadership to announce late last month that it will officially ‘whip’ members to reject the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill.

‘It’s now clear that the tax-and-spend reconciliation bill and the Senate infrastructure bill are inextricably linked. Therefore, we will be whipping against both measures in an effort to stop Democrats from enacting $5 trillion in socialist spending,’ said the office of House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, Louisiana Republican.

“We’ve known that the infrastructure bill and the budget reconciliation are linked — it’s a point Chairman @RepJimBanks and @RepublicanStudy members have been discussing for nearly two months now.”

The Blaze reports, “In June, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) introduced HR 3860, which would prohibit any mandatory requirement that a member of the Armed Forces receive a COVID-19 vaccination.

‘This bill prohibits the use of federal funds to require a member of the Armed Forces to receive a COVID-19 vaccination,’ the bill states, which has 31 cosponsors. ‘The bill also prohibits adverse action (e.g., punishment) being taken against a member of the Armed Forces because the member refuses to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.’

On Friday, Massie hosted a roundtable discussion with a dozen members of the U.S. military to hear their concerns about the imminent vaccine mandate. The military members remained anonymous to avoid any backlash or retribution for their opinions on the COVID-19 vaccine.”

Republican Congressman Chip Roy went on a Twitter tear on Tuesday, after 19 Republicans joined Democrats in passing a $1.2 trillion “infrastructure” bill through the U.S. Senate.

19 Republican senators just voted for a $1.2 trillion “infrastructure” package that’s filled with leftist garbage.

There’s been a lot of smoke and mirror efforts to hide what’s in this bill, so let’s take a look at what they actually voted for.

Roy starts with some of the biggest leftist garbage: the Green New Deal.

First, the bill isn’t focused on hard infrastructure and instead provides billions to Green New Deal programs.
