AOC is wrong: 'The student debt crisis doesn't exist'

FEE's Brad Polumbo says, "AOC is wrong! The student debt 'crisis' doesn't exist."

"That's right," Polumbo adds. "Forget the progressive narrative about crushing student debt holding back a generation—it's more fiction than fact."

"Here's the proof that there is not a student debt crisis at all," Polumbo says.

Polumbo claims, "In the telling of progressives like AOC, Bernie Sanders, and others like them, student debt is a massive weight that’s hanging down on today’s young people and crushing their economic fortunes."

"Now is is certainly true that there is $1.7 trillion outstanding in student loan debt today and that’s a lot of money, he says. "But actually the facts are  more complicated than that."
