Cori Bush: Give me personal security but 'Defund the Police!' Nancy Mace: Bush's 'hypocrisy knows no bounds'

Far-left Democratic Congresswoman Cori Bush recently went on a rant about how she should be able to spend as much as she likes on personal private security so that she can work to defund the police.

The idea that she should feel personally safe but civilians shouldn't have police they can call when needed did not seem to register for the Democrat.

“I’m going to make sure I have security because I know I have had attempts on my life," Bush said. "And I have had too much work to do, there are too many people, that need help right now… so if I end up spending $200,000, if I spend ten more dollars on it… You know what? I get to be here to do the work.”

"So suck it up: Defunding the police has to happen," Bush insisted. "We need to defund the police!”

Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace called Bush, “Totally crazy."

"I find it really rich," Mace told Newsmax. "A socialist finally discovers capitalism through the guise of private security. Someone whose hypocrisy knows no bounds, she wants to defund the police. Yet is advocating and bragging about the private security that she needs."

"I hate politics. I hate politicians. I hate the whole thing," Mace added.

"This is one of the reasons… the citizens of our country hate DC, they hate the swamp, they hate what’s going on because of the hypocrisy that we see say in and day out," Mace said.
