Rand Paul: 'What could be more authoritarian than the no-fly list for people who disagree with you?'

Rand Paul appeared on Fox News this morning to address the idea of not allowing unvaccinated Americans to fly.

Paul correctly noted how authoritarian such a policy would be.

"These are the same people who hooted and hollered and said ‘Trump is leading us to authoritarianism," Paul said.

He added, "What could be more authoritarian than a no-fly list for people who disagree with you?"

When asked about Republican governors like Ron DeSantis in Florida and Greg Abbott declaring they will defy and disallow and mask mandates coming from the Biden administration or anywhere else, Paul replied, “I think when you look objectively at mask mandates for states, cities, counties or countries, there is no correlation between mask mandate and reduction in instances of the disease, in fact its the opposite - the more of the mandates we got the more of the disease we got.

"I don’t think the mask caused the disease, but I don’t think the mask helped any," Paul added.
