This is how you mayor: No lockdowns. No government overreach

Knox County, Tennessee Mayor Glenn Jacobs tweeted on Wednesday:

I stood up for small businesses against the lockdowns. I’m against government overreach and always will be.

This stance is something Knox County's mayor has been consistent on for many months, particularly after witnessing how destructive the initial lockdowns were across the country.

Vaccines are now readily available across the county for those who want them, and our economy cannot sustain another devastating lockdown. I have faith in the people of this county to make the decisions that benefit their families best.

Some studies have shown that the lockdowns did not do much to stop the spread of Covid. We don't need a study to see how much damage the lockdowns did in a myriad of ways.

Mayor Glenn Jacobs chooses liberty, which seems to work best for the most people, every time.
