A majority of Americans agree with withdrawal from Afghanistan but do not like how it was handled

Hannah Cox writes, "A new Washington Post—ABC News Poll found that 26 percent of Americans approve of both the withdrawal and the handling of it, while 52 percent approve of ending the war but disapprove of the way it was handled. All in all, that equates to 78 percent of Americans supporting the end to this war.

Only 23 percent of Republicans, 21 percent of Independents, and 5 percent of Democrats oppose the withdrawal. This is astonishing."
