Not long ago, the Biden administration announced a Disinformation Governance Board, a federal agency that would monitor and regulate Americans' speech. There was so much backlash against the Orwellian idea it was announced that plans for the agency were halted.

This is in an environment where we have learned that the federal government has worked in conjunction with major social media platforms to censor speech.

Billionaire Elon Musk bought Twitter because he said he was worried about free speech and increased censorship. Musk said he wanted Twitter to be a home for the free flow of expression, ideas, news and more.

The Biden administration's response?

Liberty Republicans in Congress all won handily

Every one of the libertarian-leaning Republican members of Congress we often feature regularly here at Liberty Tree won their elections on Tuesday by double digits.

Sen. Rand Paul

With 90% reporting, the Associated Press called the race for Kentucky U.S. Sen. Rand Paul and showed a very wide lead.

Sen. Mike Lee

With 58% reporting, the Associated Press called the race Utah U.S. Sen. Mike Lee, who had a strong double digit lead over his opponent.

Rep. Thomas Massie

With 93% reporting, the Associated Press called the race for Kentucky's 4th Congressional District for Rep. Thomas Massie, who trounced his Democratic and Independent opponents.

Rep. Kat Cammack

With 99% percent reporting, the Associated Press called the race for Florida's 3rd Congressional District for Rep. Kat Cammack, who walloped her Democratic and Independent opponents.

Rep. Nancy Mace

With 98%reporting, the Associated Press called the race for South Carolina's 1st Congressional District for Rep. Nancy Mace, who beat her Democratic and Independent opponent by double digits.

It was a mixed bag for some Republicans on election night with some disappointing defeats. Such is politics.

But congressional Liberty Republicans did not disappoint. At all.
