U.S. Representative for Florida's 3rd congressional district.

We've got to stop this insatiable spending

The Washington Times reports, "The conservative caucus, made up of more than 150 House Republicans, has helped influence GOP leadership to announce late last month that it will officially 'whip' members to reject the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill.

'It’s now clear that the tax-and-spend reconciliation bill and the Senate infrastructure bill are inextricably linked. Therefore, we will be whipping against both measures in an effort to stop Democrats from enacting $5 trillion in socialist spending,' said the office of House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, Louisiana Republican.

Jim Thurber, professor of government at American University, said the RSC’s size and scope give it leverage in the House, comparing it to the influence of the Congressional Progressive Caucus in the Democratic Party.

'I think it’s the most important legislative caucus,' Mr. Thurber said. 'And when they’re against something, it’s significant.”

I'll always stand for life

CBN News reports, “Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) detailed how her mother chose life, despite advice from doctors and her family.

‘Every woman's story is different and these decisions do not come easy, but I am grateful every single day that there were resources available for my mom because in that moment she chose life.’

Cammack is the youngest Republican woman in the 117th Congress.

She accused Democrats of ‘glorifying’ and ‘normalizing’ abortion in a bid to strip the Hyde Amendment from the budget. The legislative provision ensures that U.S. taxpayer dollars don't go to funding abortions."

Americans don't want to spend trillions we can't afford

Pelosi doesn't want to 'talk about numbers and dollars' in spending bill

I'm sure she doesn't.

Senate Dems may even try firing parliamentarian

Newsmax reports, "Democrats will try everything to restore immigration in their $3.5 trillion spending plan, potentially even firing the Senate parliamentarian who ruled that the matter should not be included in the reconciliation plan, Rep. Kat Cammack said on Newsmax Monday.

And if that happens, the Florida Republican told Newsmax's 'National Report,' 'Americans across the country should just absolutely call out this blatant hypocrisy for the rules of procedure.'

On Sunday, the Parliamentarian ruled that the immigration reform push was 'by any standard a broad, new immigration policy' and that the policy change 'substantially outweighs the budgetary impact of that change."

Dems $3.5 trillion spending bill will do irreparable harm

The Hill reported on Friday, "House Democrats this week wrapped up the bulk of committee work on a $3.5 trillion package of social benefits and climate programs — a massive undertaking that advances what would be a legacy-defining domestic agenda for President Biden.

Now the harder part begins.

While 13 separate committees succeeded in drafting, massaging and ultimately approving the portions of the package under their jurisdiction, the process featured plenty of infighting between disparate factions over various provisions — differences that have created headaches for Democratic leaders and will need resolving before the legislation hits the floor."

Biden mandate 'gross, abusive government overreach'

Biden lied about not wanting to issue vaccine mandates

President Joe Biden said in December about the possibility of both mask and vaccine mandates, "“I don't think it should be mandatory, I wouldn't demand it be mandatory.”

Biden has since declared vaccines to be mandatory.

Hiding from questions is the Biden Foreign Policy Blueprint

The Boston Herald's Grace Curley wrote in mid-August as the turmoil continued in Afghanistan, "The president of the United States should not be calling a lid and hiding out at Camp David as this bloody catastrophe unfolds.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki made excuses for her absentee boss: 'He likes Camp David. It’s a place to be outside, spend time with family, and certainly has beautiful, beautiful scenery there.'

Maybe Joe should ask Hunter to paint him a nice landscape. Watercolors might best capture the bucolic mood. Then Joe could hang Hunter’s latest masterpiece in the Oval Office. That way the president could enjoy the beautiful, beautiful scenery and still be privy to some of the fallout from his terrible decisions."

We're getting used to seeing Biden walk away from questions about Afghanistan

"I’m not supposed to take any questions but go ahead,' Biden told Bloomberg News reporter Jennifer Jacobs.

Jacobs began, 'Mr. President, on Afghanistan—'

'I’m not gonna answer on Afghanistan now,' Biden interjected before walking away from the podium."
