You get a choice on whether or not you want to use these platforms, and if you do then you play by their rules. That part is only a problem for people who believe they are entitled to the fruits of another person’s labor. Suggesting these platforms owe you an account is theoretically the same as arguing that people have a right to healthcare services. You don’t, and the minute you attempt to use the government to compel private actors to give you something is the minute you become an enemy of the free market and free speech…

If Americans are concerned that the government is pressuring Big Tech to censor certain viewpoints, it makes absolutely no sense for them to think giving the government more power over these companies would lead to less censorship.

Make no mistake, the solutions to this problem offered by nationalist types—like Section 230 repeal or antitrust legislation—would only entrench the powers of existing companies and give Democrats—who are pushing for more censorship—exactly what they want.”

However, in reality, it was only deemed such because the administrators at YouTube disagreed with what Paul was saying. Because of this censorship, Paul has decided to leave the platform “unless it is to criticize the platform or announce that viewers can see his content on Rumble.com.” This is an admirable step by Paul, and other politicians should follow suit…

This is a vital step in combating Big Tech’s assault on the news. YouTube’s removal of Paul’s videos in the past is an example of this encroachment. The company previously removed some of his videos criticizing the efficacy of wearing masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. YouTube categorized the video as misinformation despite Paul showing scientific data supporting his claim.”

“Every year, people resolve to do things that are better for their health — quitting alcohol, processed food, toxic relationships. I have come to the realization that my relationship with YouTube is dysfunctional.

Sure, I can get millions of views. But why should I allow anonymous “fact-checkers” to censor my fully sourced, fact-based content? They don’t want to challenge or debate me with opposing views, they just want my silence.

Everyone complains about Big Tech. The Left says Big Tech doesn’t censor enough. The right complains that Big Tech censors too much already.

Many in Congress, on the Left and the Right, want to break up or regulate Big Tech, but few of these loud voices have actually stepped up and quit using Big Tech.

Why begin with YouTube? Because they’re the worst censors…

Dangerous figures in Cuba, Iran and China can use YouTube, but not Rand Paul?

YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, each hosts all sorts leaders from authoritarian regimes on a regular basis.

Here is Cuba’s president. Here is China’s government-run news agency.

But Rand Paul is suspended for seven days for promoting a view in his video that is backed up by actual peer reviewed science?

What country is this again?

I have been BANNED by YouTube

I haven’t lied. I haven’t used expletives. I haven’t spread misinformation.

I have only told the truth about what our government seeks to do to us, curtailing our most basic liberties, using the COVID-19 pandemic as their excuse.

So let me repeat: We must reject any new lockdowns. We must defy any new arbitrary mandates. They didn’t work the first time and we shouldn’t tolerate them again.

It is time for us to resist.

It appears YouTube has now banned me for seven days for telling the truth. Don’t expect to see Anthony Fauci or any other government official get the same treatment from YouTube, even though so many of their recommendations are anti-science and therefore detrimental to our nation’s health, both physical and mental.

Censorship by YouTube is very dangerous as it stifles debate and promotes groupthink where the ‘truth’ is defined by people with a political agenda.

So in the meantime, I encourage everyone to visit my Rumble channel instead, where I will not be censored. News will not be censored at Rumble.

In a free society, truth should never be censored. If only YouTube agreed.
