FreedomWorks’ Alex Deise writes, “We’ve all watched the cringeworthy hearings where senators take turns ‘grilling’ Big Tech CEOs over why their constituent emails have such low open rates. While the fight over regulating Big Tech rages, Americans’ 4th Amendment rights continue to be abused in other areas that do in fact require a measured response. As it turns out, such a remedy already exists.

Last April, a group of bipartisan senators introduced The Fourth Amendment Is Not For Sale Act (FANFSA).

In the Senate, the bill enjoys 20 co-sponsors ranging from Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) to Bernie Sanders (I-VT). While the House companion bill is sponsored by Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), the bill has yet to see the light of day. That must change.

The Fourth Amendment protects the right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures, unless the government acts with a judicially granted warrant supported by probable cause or there is an applicable exception to the warrant. The Supreme Court has recognized that the Fourth Amendment provides protection from government searches when a person has a subjective expectation of privacy that society recognizes as objectively reasonable.”

FreedomWorks’ Clara Del Villar writes, “It therefore should come as no surprise that Team Biden’s notable lurch to the left has meant that its approval ratings have plummeted not only with Hispanics/Latinos but with almost every demographic and age group. Among those under age 30, who are most worried about establishing their career, support for Biden has plunged 50 points since January.

If the 2022 midterms were held today, our Latino population would now be split exactly in half, with 37% favoring Republicans and 37% supporting Democrats, according to a Wall Street Journal survey.

This substantial political shift is worth examining because it’s a clear dismissal of the progressive movement’s ‘doomsday narrative.’

Instead of changing course, President Biden has decided to continue in the same direction. He is still nominating far-left radical partisan ideologues to run the most powerful administrative agencies in the federal government. Today’s example features Gigi Sohn, whom President Biden nominated to be a Commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

If Sohn is confirmed, the FCC will promulgate a series of high-profile liberal policies that would never receive the support necessary to pass Congress. For starters, it is likely the FCC will adopt the same net neutrality policy it did when Sohn served as counsel to FCC Chairman Wheeler.”

President Biden has ordered all Americans who work in businesses with 100 or more employees to either get COVID vaccinations or undergo weekly testing. Long awaited details on how the mandate would be enforced were unveiled last week; however, none of what was revealed was able to offset the fact that this mandate is unwise, unnecessary, and will further inflame opposition to COVID vaccines among the vaccine resistant public.

Rather than providing Americans with an opportunity to weigh in on the mandate, Biden claims that ’emergency powers’ give him the right to set this mandate without input from the very people that it will affect. Though the public will be able to comment on whether or not the mandate should be made permanent, they were never asked whether or not it should have been ordered in the first place.”
